Simple Sunday

My favorite feature of St-Etienne is the bronze figure blowing a horn all the way up there on the roof...

I went to the FRAC to see the expo, Gestes serpentines et d'autres prophéties (Serpentine gestures and other prophecies), which has been intriguing me since I first noticed the huge ball of rubber and rubber strips strewn around the museum's courtyard.

Pierre-Etienne Morelle - Grow

Iñaki Bonillas - Naufragio en silencio

Benoît Billotte - Sunline

Monika Grzymala - Polyder/Polyhedron

(it's all strips of black masking tape. quite incredible. impressionnant.)

The expo was great. A sort of musing/study of time - linear and cyclic -, the end of the world, and other things linear and cyclic.
