Il neige!

It's snowing in Metz! Not a lot, but snow, for real, and it's sticking!

Over the past few days there have been a couple minutes each day, it seems, where a handful of flakes fall, but melt even before hitting the ground. It's been cold though, between about -7 and -3 Celcius (19-26 Fahrenheit). The cold will certainly be continuing, conditions météo véritablement hivernales, according to the weather site I read for Metz, truly wintery weather conditions predicted for the coming week. What makes me really excited, though, is that snow is predicted, at least a few flocons each day, for the next week as well! Tomorrow in particular is calling for falling snow all day long, though d’intensité faible, without much intensity.

It'll certainly add a festive air to my holiday lessons and to the lunch-time staff party tomorrow!
