It was a cool, crisp fall Sunday, perfect for a little bike ride along the river. It was a striking green color today.
I followed the piste cyclable southwest along the Moselle. 
I got really close to this heron before it took off.
There are lots of leafy paths through the esplanade, and pretty bridges over the river. It's broken into several smaller canals by little spits of land.
Looks BEAUTIFUL! As for your diet, however, NOT TO FEAR! I've got LOADS of soup recipes up my sleeve for you and since the weather is turning colder here I'll be cooking along with you. I haven't taken to baking pies or anything during Mad Men on Sundays yet though because that's really just not the same without you!
