Friday night was N3B, the third edition of Nuit Blanche in Metz. The theme this year was "water and dreams" and was thus located in the
quartier, or neighborhood, of Metz known as
Les Isles, since they are in fact islands in the Moselle River. You can read more about the Nuit Blanche phenomenon
here at Wikipedia, or here on the page for
N3B Metz. Plus, here's what I had to say about
NB2 last year.

Speakers had been hoisted into the trees and we were treated to sounds from the countryside, as well as an intense thunderstorm.
During the thunderstorm
Audience-controlled, synchronized light and fountain show

Wish balloons to be released into the sky
