Jolly Old St Nick

Some of you probably remember reading about my St Nicolas Day experience last year (history and photos here), and well, I've seen another day of parade and fireworks, streets filled with children and families, winced under the barrage of incoming hard candies being flung from floats, and wondered how long it would take my toes to thaw out after the evening was over!
