It's Slushing

That's right, it's slushing. On the way to school it was raining snow. On the way home it was snowing rain. Such a delightful combination!

Another point that makes my day interesting:
  • When the French lay a piece of cardboard over their windshield at night so if it snows, they don't have to brush or scrape, they can just lift the cardboard off in the morning. They do this even in case of the slightest amount of snow - such that if you sneezed vigorously it would all blow away. Quel-horreur!-1st-grade-teacher told us that her cardboard, and that of her neighbor, was stolen the other night. Likely, she suspects, not by pesky high schoolers, but by the old woman who rides her bicycle around the neighborhood, collecting things in big plastic sacks. That one got a big laugh in the teachers' room!

Happy Friday!

  1. hah, ha... that's a good one.. We do have cases like that here in Kangar where old folks go around looking for plastics and cardboards for recycle purposes...
    Have a nice day...
